Dear Ian, this must be a dreadful blow. I saw you at Brighton way back in 1971. I was in touch with your other half sometime ago re: something I posted on E.T. She must find it very hard too.

May my God bless you with good health again soon. Best wishes to you both.

I have so missed your sense of fairness and humor. Keep in touch with us all as you are very missable. Keep getting well so I don't have to miss them again! I knew there was something amiss with the force! (I think I covered most forms of the word miss, if I mis... well I better stop before going overboard) PS If I made you smile even a little it is but a small token of what you have given me Mr. Wallace

Dear Ian, my prayers for a quick recovery are with you.
I know what you and your family must endure.
I saw Bill Bruford and Pat Mastelotto, both solo and with King Crimson but I never saw you except on TV (with David Linley) and I wish to see Crimson Jazz Trio sometime in the Cologne area.

Hang in there, Ian and get well soon. No retiring until at least CJT"4" is released, the tour completed, another collaboration with Brian Trainor done, a new solo album and more music with 21CSB is enjoyed! Even then, many years after that. Our prayers are with you.

Amazing disc. Seriously, it goes far beyond expectations.

Today, I was at my local coffeeshop when Crimson bullied its way through my dense iPod playlist to my ears. The track was Larks' Tongue Part IV, a terrifying track. The end of the song has the heartbreaking lament, Coda: I Have a Dream.

As I listened to its relentless descending melody, I thought of how lovely Coda would sound performed by your trio. Can you please consider such it for future inclusion? You guys would kill it. In a good way.

Look guys, if we put the keyboard in the back, I can take over for Matty until he gets over his education.
I'll grow my hair out and dye it all rainbow colours like Todd Rundgren! I'll even shave me eyebrows like Brian Eno! I'll wear one of those George Clinton hand-me-downs that I bougt from Out of the Closet.
Just make sure that you show me where the button is to que the backing tape.
We're gonna rock!
Do I need to wear gloves when I get my star on Hollywood Blvd.?

KC Songbook Volume One is my favorite album of 2005. I can't get enough of it, and have been giving copies to people as gifts as well. Congrats on what I consider a groundbreaking CD. May there be many more volumes, and also some live shows at The Iridium Jazz Club in NYC!
